NAGZMAR, the Re-discoverer of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS

After 2000, Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS seemed to be Wanderer under the patron of veteran teacher, Marjin J. Madjirul. In 2015, Geo-taging photos reports found out Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS  not in its proper site. Geo-tagging did not accept its latitude and longitude measurement over the ground under the asylum of Panglima Ahajan Elementary School headed by Head Teacher III, Mussah A. Arabain,

District NAT Monitoring Team in Action

NAT (National Achievement Test) for Grades 4 was again administered in 11 elementary schools of Indanan South District last August 15, 2016. This year's NAT for Grades 4 happened twice for the same examinees with last July 13, 2016. Accordingly, it was done that way in order to compare both results of every examinee.

A Half-Day Journey to Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS

August 17, 2016, PSDS Sam decided to visit Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School headed by TIC, Nagdar U. Sasapan. It is located in Barangay Karawan, Indanan, Sulu under the able chairmanship of Hon. Aksan Mudjamil. However, the Barangay Captain today is no longer Aksan Mudjamil but his son. It was the BLGU officials led by Aksan Mudjamil that the school returned again to its original site through the initiative of Mussah A. Arabain Head Teacher 3 of Panglima Ahajan Elementary School and the TIC of the school. Geo-tagging report made Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi decide for its homecoming from the playground of Panglima Ahajan ES for more than a decade. Its relocation was due to peace and order prevailing in Barangay Karawan those days.

Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS Needs Immediate Renovation

Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School is opening Kindergarten to Grade 3 Classes since the advent of first day of classes resumed last June 13, 2016. Unfortunately, classes are not formally held inside the classroom. It is conducted in many canopies of the local residents of Barangay Karawan. The old 2-classroom school building constructed last 2000 still suffers from roofless because of lack of timbers for trushes, purlins and many other materials to shelter the school children from the heat of the sun and rain. Hon. Aksan Maksan, the Barangay Chairman already advised the TIC and teachers to get the rough estimation of the needed materials. However, acquisition of those materials does not yet come to effect. It is, perhaps, due to delayed arrival of the barangay IRA (Internal Revenue Allocation).

A Chance for My Lucky-9 Friend

During lunch break of our ESIP (Enhanced School Improvement Plan) Training held at Notre Dame Review Center, Kasulutan Village, Jolo, Sulu, I chanced to go for Sulu Provincial Capitol Gymnasium where the 20th ARMM Regional Qur'an Reading Competition was held today. After a while, I spotted this humble and talented man, a good friend and brother to me. He is a one hundred percent purely-blooded Tausug that hailed from Parang, Sulu.

I captured him for a picture. He was wearing a number nine (9) garland which signaled a contestant for the said competition.

I would be so proud to present him in behalf of Tawi-Tawi people representing province of Tawi-Tawi, one of the provinces in the southernmost part of the Philippines.
